I joined my friend on a shopping excursion to Newbury Street this evening.  I did not purchase anything but I found some of the displays to be very inspirational.

This is the same J Crew Blazer from yesterday but now it is paired with Jeans, a Madewell Striped t shirt, and Sperry Topsliders.  Did you know J Crew and Madewell are owned by the same company just as Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters are?

I m discovering Poylvore.com!  OMG it is gonna make my life so much easier.  This is an outfit that I posted a few weeks ago. The Jean Jacket and shirt are exact matches to what I wore in the post and the skirt is the same brand!

Michael Kors Navajo Blue Skirt

This skirt is over a year old, blue navajo print by Michael Kors. I paired it with my Madewell Chambray shirt and my gold ratty sandals. It looks like it wants to storm later so I am keeping my umbrella on me.

Moccasins

Today I wore my Minnetonka moccasins. It was very much a lounge outfit, nice and comfy. Seven for all mankind jeans and Madewell striped shirt.  I also took some nice pictures of BU campus today as well.

Rain Gear

Sometimes it pours and you just want to stay dry. I bought a rain coat at Madewell from the Penfield brand. It served me well today. I liked the duck bill hood it actually kept me dry. It was a shell so I was able to layer underneath when it was colder but the jacket itself wasn't to heavy. The jacket is called the Holbrook and can be bought for $140.

A Day Without Shoes: Toms

Technically "A Day Without Shoes" was last Tuesday but BU celebrated it today, Saturday. IT WAS GORGEOUS OUTSIDE! It was a perfect day to go barefoot to raise awareness for people who don't have shoes.  Outfit today was my maxi skirt and new Madewell stripped shirt.

Chambray Styling

This is my new Chambray Shirt that I purchased last night at Madewell. See here for other Madewell Chambray options.  I wore it with Citizens of Humanity Cargo pants and gap two tone city flats.

Madewell Denim After Dark

Madewell on Newbury Street had an event tonight: free food, music, sale, and denim hemming! Gotta love sales and pretty new clothes. The only thing I didn't get were the jeans, which were on sale, but it was not a good night for trying on jeans.
