Green Anthropologie Dress

Yes I was in the city today and no I did not have to venture outside of the air conditioned office. Thank goodness for small favors in life.  Outfit: Unseen American Apparel Lace Bicycle Shorts, Gladiator Sandals, and Anthropologie Dress.

First Day of Work

Today was my first day at Eugenia Kim as the summer intern. It was wonderful I was kept nice and busy working on various projects.
The outfit was my Anthropologie Maxi, Uniqlo Cardigan, H&M Belt, with the beat up gladiators.

Power Dressing

Today was my first exam.  If you are going to fail you might as well do so in style.  Well- I certainly did not fail but I have been using that mantra for about 4 years now.

Today I went with my friend to Newbury Street to see Ked's How Do You Do and the 5th Anniversary of Johnny Cupcakes.  I won a free pair of Keds sneakers (aka Tennis Shoes) so stay tuned to hear about those when they are delivered. The line for Johnny Cupcakes spread down the block so we just did a walk by.  For the non-Bostonians Johnny Cupcakes sells t-shirts not baked goods.  My friend and I also wandered in and out of stores.  I got some new shirts from Express and a beautiful Blazer from J Crew.

Leather Bomber and a Spring Dress

The blue dress is from Urban Outfitters last year, brown leather bomber Anthropolige 18 months ago, and Sperry Top Sliders from 2 years ago. Yay for reusing old things in my wardrobe!

The bomber has partial cloth sleeves so it is easy to push the sleeves up

Summer Maxi Dress

Spring has sprung, actually more like summmer, but regardless it means dresses! I am so excited to finally wear my new dress from Anthropologie (A Different Stripe Maxi Dress) I also threw on a brown leather bomber jacket for later in the evening (the jacket is also from Anthropologie but it is from a few seasons ago).

Fab Outfit

The dress today was business casual. I wanted to break in my new Anthropologie Land of Spring Dress so I paired it with my standard Urban Outfitters Blazer and Gap City Flats. I wasn't sure if we would be walking or taking cabs. The outfit was sufficiently business but fashionable enough for going to both the Missoni and Nanette Lepore showrooms and offices.

Birthday Outfit- Casual

Casual outfit for earlier in the day: Leggings, because despite the sun it is still nippy in Boston, new Anthropologie shirt that was on clearance, and my Tory Burch Navajo Sandals. Stay tuned for later pics of the classy evening with the girls!

New Shirt!

I have an obsession with shirts that have dolman sleeves. They are comfy and very flattering to my figure. I got it at Anthropologie today. I can't find it online but these styles are similar Slouched Raglan Scoopneck and Translucent Dolman Tee.

Trench

Today it was raining yet again in Boston. Unlike yesterday though, I was prepared! I went out with my Hunter Rain Boots, Umbrella, and Elevenses Trench Coat from Anthropologie. The store no longer stocks my coat, I purchased it in November, but here is what is available at Anthropologie from the brand.  Underneath the coat, I was wearing my beautiful Marc by Marc Jacobs White T-Shirt. It has a beautiful, but pain in the ass, layered collar. It is a pain because it has to be ironed otherwise it doesn't lay right, but that is a small sacrifice for a beautiful shirt.
