First Day of Work

Today was my first day at Eugenia Kim as the summer intern. It was wonderful I was kept nice and busy working on various projects.
The outfit was my Anthropologie Maxi, Uniqlo Cardigan, H&M Belt, with the beat up gladiators.

Memorial Day Dress

It was fun trying to figure out what to wear today. It is 90 degrees out and I am sunburned on my legs.  This dress is from TARGET and I bought it last summer. It is mid calf length so it covers my sunburn but doesn't rub against it. Thankfully because of Aloe Vera the sunburn should be better by tomorrow! I wore my pair of black Birkenstocks with the dress. Plus my Ray Bans of course! I also included a picture of my cat Athena and my Alexa Chung Madewell bracelet.

So I am spending the weekend poolside. This is similar to the outfit I am/will be sporting all weekend.  The differencres are my hat is the Erica 2, sold out now, same swim top different bottoms, the brown flip flops, last year's version of the DVF sarong, my tote bag was free from Her Campus, and these are the I wish sunglasses. Add a book and sunscreen and you have the poolside retreat!

H&M Black Maxi

This is my H&M Black Maxi. I am wearing it with a white blous and my pink navajo Tory Burch sandals. The downside of this maxi is that it is see through so I have to wear a slip with it, which is annoying in the summer because the more layers your have the hotter you are. I am also have my blue aloha hair clip in my hair.

Mood Inspiration

I went to Mood Fabrics in NYC today to pick up some new fabric for one of my projects. I spent an hour there just wandering around getting inspiration from fabrics and buttons and just feeling good about life.  Swatch their store mascot made an appearance as well.

Belted Jeans

Today's outfit, yes it has been a while, was my new light pink J Crew Top, Jeans, Beat up Gladiator Sandals, and a White and Brown Belt from Anthropologie (a few seasons old and a few sizes too big).

The Final Closet

My closet is complete! Shoes are organized and both belts and bags are hung up on display.  I even found a place for my scarves too!

Apparently Zeus likes Belts too

 My cat is nuts.  Now he is going after my belts in my reorganizing project.

 

Spring Smelling Laundry

The best part of being back home is air drying laundry. Here is why I love air drying laundry:
1. Saves Energy, Eco friendly
2. Makes them smell lovely
3. No shrinkage!!! So it saves your self esteem!

Koala's March

This is Koala's March one of my favorite treats as a kid and this was the first time I had seen them in years! Well naturally I had to give them a try again.  At 210 calories for the package they weren't bad at all for a strawberry treat. I had forgotten each cookie had a different koala on it. I didn't get a double koala picture in the package at all!

Unpacking, organizing, and dealing with my closet

I am unpacking from Boston. I decided to take the opportunity to go through my closet with old clothes at home too.  It is an arduous task. My main problem is that I don't have a set of drawers. I am repainting one set and the other, smaller drawer set, is full of books.  But I did manage to sort things into Goodwill, Consignment, Storage, and Summer/Wear now. This is gonna be an ongoing project.
